Bryan Walsh was born in Ireland and raised in Canada. He has performed Stand-Up over 10 years in Canada, the US, and Europe.
In the US he was an opening act for big Irish comedians like Ardal O'Hanlon, Maeve Higgins, and Joe Rooney. He performed at festivals like the Kansas City Irish Festival. In 2013, he won New York's Bad Theater Festival's Lenny Bruce Award for Stand-Up Comedy. In 2016, he interviewed on-stage sportsmen Pat Spilane and Mick Galwey for Vancouver's Celtic Festival.
From 2009-2012, he worked as a comedian in London. Performing regularly at well respected venues like The Exhibit and Downstairs at The Kings Head. He also performed at London's Camden Fringe and the Nottingham Comedy Festival. Three times he has performed at The Edinburgh Fringe, in 2011 he first hour long-show.
He graduated from McGill University in Montreal in 2006. As part of his studies he completed an internship at Ireland's National Theatre, the Abbey Theatre, and further studied in Chicago at Improv Olympic and Toronto's The Second City. In 2007, he starred in the award winning Canadian film The Limits.
He is now based outside of London.
