Matt Green

"A stand up audience's dream" ***** (Three Weeks, 2009)

Matt has been performing stand up comedy since 2003, and has appeared at venues all over the UK and across the world. His act is a mixture of high energy observational and topical jokes combined with more personal stories and anecdotes. He is also a highly experienced compere and is excellent at audience interaction.

He has performed four successful solo shows at the Pleasance in Edinburgh:

Too Much Information (2011); Bleeding Funny (2010); Truth & Pleasure (2009); Grow Up Green (2008)

In 2011 his show was nominated for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival.

He is a resident MC for The 99 Club in London, and comperes and performs sets for many clubs across the UK, including: Jongleurs, Highlight, The Comedy Cafe, Jesters, Komedia, The Stand, Comedy Company, XS Malarkey, The Frog and Bucket, The Comedy Network, Off the Kerb, Mirth Control, Christian Knowles, ED Comedy and many more.

Matt has also appeared at and hosted various corporate events, including the Internet Service Provider Awards in 2009, and performed abroad in countries such as Singapore and Slovenia.
