Al Pitcher

"YOU'D HAVE TO BE TOTALLY STONE HEARTED NOT TO FIND THIS SHOW HILARIOUS. AL PITCHER IS MY NEW FAVOURITE COMEDIAN I PREDICT BIG THINGS FROM THIS GUY IN THE COMING YEARS - HE IS A HUGE TALENT. THIS SHOW IS SO FUNNY, IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON ONE OF THE GENUINE TREATS OF THE FRINGE." - HHHHH EdFringe.com

Each Al Pitcher show is unique. He eclipses his peers with his interactive abilities, his audience never quite knowing where he's taking them but thrilled by the journey.

"I WAS LAUGHING UNCONTROLLABLY, THIS VERY FUNNY MAN CAN TAKE YOU ON A JOURNEY INTO THE REALMS OF ALMOST INSANITY WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR CHAIR." - HHHH One4Review.com

Already one of the most respected acts on the national club circuit, his unpredictable, unsystematic and upbeat live performances have consistently wowed audiences across the country.

"THE KIWI MOTORMOUTH'S CROWD SKILLS ARE SECOND TO NONE." - The Stage

A star of the "Comedy Zone" at the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe, Al stormed back in 2004 with his acclaimed debut show and again in 2005 with his highly praised show "Wolfcatcher" all of which won him a new army of followers.

"CAN REDUCE AN AUDIENCE TO TEARS OF LAUGHTER." - The Scotsman

Al's had a banner year in 2006, having completed his first ever UK tour with Steve Williams, premiering his brand new show "The Al Pitcher Experience" at the Oddfellows NZ International Comedy Festival before bringing it back to the UK for a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe and garnering rave reviews for his performances at Malta's premiere (and only!) comedy club.

"AL PITCHER IS A GENIUS" - Hairine

The voice of Fosters Lager commercials, Al was commissioned by BBC Radio One to write and perform on their late night comedy show The Milk Run. Also a regular warm up act for "2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps", "Nigella" and "Grown Ups". With a new tour and return to the southern hemisphere on the horizon, Al Pitcher is definitely a name to watch.
