Timothy Lock

“a funny, insane, moron…one of the most talented men I know” (Howard Stern)

Bald, middle aged, gay, and in his own words “the man who put the ‘un’ in unattractive.  Timothy Lock is a wonderful blend of contradictions and a comedian who knows where the boundaries are and then steps way over them!

A Canadian who’s been based in the UK for the last 11 years, he’s decided that it’s time for his dark twisted comedy needs to get back out on the live stage.  He first got his start performing on Canadian commercial radio in Toronto in 1991.  An accomplished voice actor and impressionist, his vocal talents have been heard on The Howard Stern Show, The American Comedy Network, The Cartoon Network, and MTV Celebrity Deathmatch to name a few.  He’s also been a freelance comedy writer for The American Comedy Network, and the host, writer, and producer of his own successful comedy podcast “Timothy Lock’s G-Spot!”  UK TV appearances include “The Weakest Link” (twice because Anne loves him), and was a regular on “Big Brother’s Big Mouth” for Series 9.

Getting back on the live comedy stage has been a fun and exciting challenge for Timothy.  In 2008 he was a finalist in Laughing Horse Comedy Clubs ‘Big, Big, Big Comedy Competion’, as well as doing open spots at venues such as; The Comedy Store, The Comedy Café, Downstairs at the Kings Head, Lion’s Den Comedy Club, Pear Shaped Comedy, Trash Palace, and The Departure Lounge at Heaven.

In the coming months he’ll continue to perform weekly at various clubs in the London area, and is also working on a long form show for the Spring of 2009!  Always entertaining, and never conforming to good taste, the best is yet to come!
