Tegwen Tucker

Tegwen is a newcomer to the comedy scene whose warm, immensely likeable manner means that her gigs are like having a glass of really good wine with a very good friend. Only, funnier. Her material is intelligent and well-observed, and she delivers it with style and an infectious energy (and an even more infectious laugh). She recently reached the final of the BBC New Talent "Show Me The Funny: Witty and Twisted" competition, and made her radio debut on BBC 7 in series finalist Message to Mars.

Tegwen trained as an actress and has performed at the Edinburgh Festival in Fringe favourite "Shakespeare for Breakfast". She has also appeared in a number of TV productions, including "Angel of Death: The Beverly Allitt Story" for the BBC, and, thanks to an uncanny resemblance to a stop-animation figure, starts recording shortly for the forthcoming series of Fireman Sam (true!). Tegwen is also a talented singer, and appears regularly with Martin White's Mystery Fax Machine Orchestra at Lowdown at the Albany, the Camden Head and Robin Ince's Book Club among other nights.

Stand-up includes:
