Si Ramsden

Gay comedian Si Ramsden hails from traditional South Yorkshire roots. Reflecting upon the contrasts of his working class upbringing and his subsequent escape from the rolling hills of Rotherham to the bright city lights of Manchester.

He doesn't hold any punches and is often the victim of his own observations on the hedonistic, gay lifestyle that he happily embraces.

Si also occasionally presents a radio show on Gaydio.co.uk

'Simon Ramsden is one of the most promising young comedians we've seen and we'd thoroughly recommend him to any promoters. We've had the pleasure of having him perform at our night on several occasions and each time he's left our audience in stitches and asking when he's coming back. For someone relatively new to stand up each time we see him his talent seems to have grown a disturbing amount. He's a warm, natural and quick witted performer with a likeable stage presence and well-written thoughtful punchy material. We'd predict a very bright comedic future for him.' - Chorlton Chuckles Comedy Club

"A natural and engaging MC who's good humour helped turn a varied crowd of individuals into a supportive audience, Simon knew when (and how) to fill in and when to just keep the flow going. Like all good MCs he worked well off the cuff but kept the timing tight, accommodated our requests to point the crowd to out social media platforms and was generally fabulous all round.  I'd have no hesitation in booking him again" Comedy Balloon, Manchester
