Sam Brady

Sam Brady is a writer and comedian who creates one man shows that are funny, intelligent, heart-warming and thought-provoking.

Sam has developed his own uplifting brand of stand-up comedy that looks at life's big questions. His shows make people laugh and leave them feeling inspired and positive.

Sam cut his teeth on the UK stand-up circuit where he still performs regularly, as well as touring his one man shows and playing comedy festivals.

One Man Shows:

2011 Meditation Ruined My Life
The true story of how Sam gave up everything to train as a Buddhist monk only to find that even "the simple life" can have its complications.

2012 Sam Brady and The Eight Worldly Winds
Sam explores the little things that can change the course of our lives and send us in directions we never meant to go.

2013 Kindness
Sam describes his ongoing struggle to be a good person and asks why our society doesn't value kindness as much it values "success".

Industry/Press Quotes:

"With this naturally funny and charismatic man, there wasn’t one moment of this show that felt contrived or forced. We heard hilarious (and some quite poignant) anecdotes that drove home his point that even though humans are flawed, the little acts of kindness really do make a difference... Emotional and uplifting." Three Weeks

"As he relates his struggle to be consistently kind, Brady reveals the truth of human nature: that it is possible to be grumpy and fussy but also to have moments of true kindness… This is life presented in its true form with highs and lows and much self-deprecating laughter throughout… Go see for yourself and maybe feel a little less cynical about life."
