Paul Scoble

Quote:
"Paul Mines a rich seam of material that is frank, funny and sometimes painfully honest. With sharp and intelligent writing, he will undoubtedly make you laugh but he will also make you think about the human condition." Stand Up For Comedy.

Description:
Paul Scoble has been writing and performing Standup Comedy since 2013. In that time he has performed hundreds of gigs across the country (although mainly in South Wales and the South West), Paul regularly opens and occasionally closes gigs, in addition to doing lots of open spots and running and MCing his own regular gig, Funny Fuel. Paul has a reputation for doing political and philosophical comedy. Paul was going to do his first hour long show "Old School Radical Extreme Metal Comic" at the 2020 Edinburgh Festival, but was thwarted by the Apocalypse.

Gigs:
Paul has done support slots for Andrew O'neill and Atilla The Stockbroker, he has done paid opening spots (Comedy at Cafe Play, Fun At The Flute, Blue Parrot Comedy), and regularly does open spots on pro nights (Comedy Sheep, Monkey Business Comedy, Buffalo Comedy). Paul has also put on shows for The Cardiff Comedy Festival, Swansea Fringe and The Brighton Fringe. Paul has done fundraisers for Mind due to having material on Mental Health, and has also done gigs for The Peoples Assembly as well as fundraisers for The Labour Party.

Final Quote:
"He's a philosopher, he's a rock god, he's a very funny man." Comedy At The Old Mill
