Paul Rose was born on a small planet orbiting his fridge in 1970. His first feature - "Birth" saw him win the award for best supporting baby. Today he is known to millions as Dot Cotton in Eastenders and, despite a chronic addiction to Marmite, still finds time to do stand up comedy. Paul has been performing stand up around the country for almost a year and one day hopes to be considered remotely funny. Paul brings a lot of energy to the stage. A juggling act of dead pan humour and full on craziness all served up in a pickled gherkin sized portion of fun. His act is an eclectic blend of impressions, observational comedy and music, and whilst pole dancing has not yet been requested, he has no pride whatsoever and will do anything for the right money. Paul is a voice over artist and would like to take this opportunity to remind you that your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loans secured on it. Although to be fair, your home is equally at risk if you dowse it in petrol and strike a match - but that's really up to you. The
Guardian described Paul as "someone they have not heard of"
and whilst he hopes that nice man from Chortle will give him a good
write up, he hasn't actually seen his act yet, so fingers crossed on
that one. |
