Paul began standup in 1999 and started the legendary new act/material night, Comedicus Erectus in Covent Garden. In 2000 he moved to New York City, where he performed at the New York, Gotham and Comic Strip Comedy Clubs. In 2001 he performed at the Chicago Comedy Festival and in 2001 and 2002 performed in the Wired For Laughs Festival at the LA Improv. Upon his return to the UK, Paul then began performing as MC and opening 20 for many clubs across the UK, his musical finale gaining much notoriety around the circuit. “One of, if not *the* best comedy songs on the circuit”– Clown’s Pocket Comedy Club “Excellent. His comeback performance was met with extremely positive feedback from audience and his fellow acts alike. Paul made his debut at the much-respected Hot Water Comedy Club in October 2019, where his set was lauded by the audience as the stand-out performance of the night.
