Mel Crosby

Mel has up to 20 minutes of very strong material that has been getting a great response and is starting regular paid work and re-bookings.
Mel is now keen for different promoters and venues to see what he can do following returning to stand up after 10 years out.
The first time around Mel made the final of various competitions including the Laughing Horse, Cup ‘a’ soup, The Amused moose and The Komedia.
Now at 35 Mel is keen to get as much stage time as possible and anything is greatly appreciated.
Based in Hayward’s heath Mel will travel where needed for stage time and/or cash.

Mel Crosby has returned to stand up after a successful first stint back at the turn of the century which led Mel to a rewarding career as a DJ in various high end lap dancing venues and as a Breakfast radio presenter.

Mel is back with new material and is comfortable doing sets up to 20 minutes.
Older and wiser Mel draws on his experiences working in strip clubs, being married and having kids as a framing device for deeper conspiratorial theories on everything from 911 to ‘Television for the brain dead’.
This style gives Mel the opportunity to get the laughs from not only the weekend stag and hen crowd but also the more intelligent comedy audience.
