Matt Lucas

Matt Lucas is probably best known as George Dawes - the overgrown baby behind the drum kit in the wonderfully deranged quiz show, 'Shooting Stars' alongside Reeves & Mortimer, Lamar & Ulrika-ka-ka.

Matt has an array of characters one of them being Sir Bernard Chumley, a malevolent luvvie whose fractured personality lurches unpredictability between chat show clichés and violent depravity. The theatrical monstrosity that is Sir Bernard has supported Blur on tour, appeared in their
'Country House' video, and even collected Damon Albarn's Ivor Novello Award on his behalf.

Other work includes writing for The Independent On Sunday, Scotland On Sunday, Total Football and a regular contributor the The Guardian. He has also appeared in Vindaloo, Naughty Woman and Jerusalem videos for
Fat Les.
