Matt Green

Matt has been performing stand up comedy since 2003, and has appeared at venues all over the UK and across the world. His act is a mixture of high energy observational and topical jokes combined with more personal stories and anecdotes. He is also a highly experienced compere and is excellent at audience interaction.

He has performed five successful solo shows at the Pleasance in Edinburgh:
Alive (2013); Too Much Information (2011); Bleeding Funny (2010); Truth & Pleasure (2009); Grow Up Green (2008)

In 2011 his show was nominated for Best New Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. In 2012 he was Fringe Review’s Stand Up Pick of the Brighton Fringe.

He is a resident MC for The 99 Club in London, and comperes and performs sets for many clubs across the UK, including: Komedia, Screaming Blue Murder, The Comedy Cafe, Jesters, The Stand, Comedy Company, XS Malarkey, Frog and Bucket, Avalon, Cosmic Comedy, Off the Kerb, Mirth Control, Christian Knowles, ED Comedy and many more.

Matt has performed at and hosted several corporate events, and has done studio warm up for various TV shows for the BBC.

Matt also performs regularly for Comedy Club 4 Kids and has performed stand up in clubs all across the world, including Norway, Singapore, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, Belgium, The Czech Republic and more.
