Marty Wilson

Marty Wilson continues to rise through the ranks of the competitive world of Stand-up Comedy. In 2000 he moved to the UK where his unique Aussie take on English life established him as a headlining artist at all the leading British and Irish comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Gleeclub and Jongleurs. Since then he has also performed sell-out shows at the Edinburgh, Amsterdam, New Zealand, Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals to enormous acclaim.

Marty’s whole career has been an amazing series of milestones. In an unbelievable first 18 months Marty rose from his maiden stage appearance, to a hugely successful performance on Australia’s top rating national program "The Footy Show" where he became a regular panel member. On the way he made the finals of every Australian comedy competition and won the prestigious "Green Faces" in Canberra – the only national competition judged by audience acclaim. He also featured as closing act on Australia’s most respected comedy showcase; thecomedychannel's "Headliners" program.

Since then Marty has blown them away in all the major comedy rooms in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Ireland, Bahrain and the UK. He has compered everything from comedy showcases to charity auctions. Marty has been seen on every major comedy showcase in the UK; including “Live at Jongleurs” and “the Comedy Store live”, has appeared in most of the “I love nineteen eighty-xxx” series and has been heard on BBC radio’s Fred MacAuley show. The only piece of work of which he ashamed is appearing on BBC London news the night before the Rugby World Cup Final where he bravely predicted: “the Aussies by five”

Very few comedians achieve half as much as Marty Wilson in their first seven years of performing so don't miss the opportunity to see this enormously talented comedian in action.
