Maisie Adam

“Maisie Adam is the newest, sharpest most hilarious voice of her generation.” – Ditto Theatre, 2016

Maisie Adam is a young female comedian from Yorkshire. Having only been on the circuit for just over a year, her anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country. Having previewed her first stand-up show to a sold-out crowd at the Ilkley Fringe, she is currently touring “Living on the Edge” around theatres, festivals and comedy nights across the UK.

Maisie recently opened for Gavin Webster (Comedian’s Comedian, I, Daniel Blake) and Kevin Lawless (Patrick Kielty tour support) at the Stagefright Comedy Club, as well as winning 2nd place at the Cavendish Arms Comedy Virgins Competition. Her new show has already been booked for runs at Bath Comedy Festival, the Brighton Fringe, Hastings Comedy Fringe Festival, Southend Fringe and Guildford Fringe Festival.

"Maisie's stories are really well observed, with a warmth rather than a criticism of the folk she bumps into. Her self-deprecation is charmingly funny and it was refreshing not to have a load of swearing. She was a fabulous compere - again, warm and well-researched. So glad we booked her."   - Helen Toft, The Otley Courthouse.

“It's only a matter of time until we see Maisie Adam performing on Live at the Apollo.” - Billy Byford, Hi4Head Records

Audience reviews:
"Very much looking forward to seeing her perform again soon, hadn't laughed that much at stand up for a long time until we saw her perform. Keep up the great work Maisie and please come back to Leeds soon!"  - Miranda Arieh, Leeds.

"Maisie made me laugh so hard, I was in stitches the whole evening! Will definitely be coming to see more of her gigs!" - Mariam Babajide, Bermondsey.

"Her impressions were bang-on. I was laughing about her characters even on the way home - a great evening!" - Dan Hitchins-Samson, Tottenham.

"My mum, my boyfriend and I came see Maisie and we all loved it, we were quoting her for days after! Brilliant!" - Steph Cawood, Harrogate.
