Liam Smedley

With the looks of Screech from ‘Saved by the Bell’, the dress sense of Will from ‘The Inbetweeners’ and the bitterness of Alan Partridge; Liam has been doing stand up since March 2009.

Based in Hull, Liam travels far and wide in his Mum’s Peugeot 206 to share the social mishaps of his incontinent Golden Retriever and unorthodox driving instructor with audiences alike. Two years in a row, Liam has taken part in ‘The Art of Comedy Workshop and Showcase’ (which won ‘Best Show’ at the Hull Comedy Festival Awards in 2009). He reached the final of the prestigious C69 New Act of the Year 2010. Liam also has a successful radio career and has presented shows on 96.9 Viking FM, Magic AM, Kerrang Radio and Pennine FM. In addition, he has appeared on 99.8 KCFM and BBC Radio Humberside to promote the Hull and Bridlington Comedy Festivals.
