Lee Canterbury

Like a ball of energy bouncing around the stage, Lee's ability to whip up an audience has been admired from Aberdeen to Exeter. Lee started his stand-up career in 1997, when he recieved rave reviews in The Evening Standard after his very first gig. He went on to be runner up in The Hackney Empire New Act of the year in 1998 and was a finalist in The Daily Telegraph open mic competition at Edinburgh in the same year. Sharing the bill with Daniel Kitson in their show The Monkey Touchers, Lee returned with critical acclaim to Edinburgh in 1999.

After a couple more years on the comedy circiut, Lee took a six year break to travel around the globe. But has now returned to his stand up and is ready to take up from where he left off.
