Killian Monson

"Very funny...very, very funny" Paul Wilson, Snow Patrol bassist.

Actor, International comedian, and musician.

Within a couple of short years, Killian Monson has already established himself as an international comedian and has worked with some of the
circuits biggest names, proving himself to be one of the brightest sparks to emerge from the circuit in recent time. Combining a commanding stage presence, with a morose yet charming delivery, Killian will provide something different for any comedy bill.

Born in Dublin, raised in the UK, Killian started his comedy career in February 2005 after a drunken evening at the Frog and Bucket in Manchester involved him getting onstage for the first time. Within his time, Killian has already played some of the country's biggest venues including The Comedy Store, The Glee, The Stand, The Frog and Bucket, Rawhide, Jongleurs, Baby Blue, multiple Mirth Control, Buzz Comedy and XS Malarkey. As well as providing support for various venues across the country and, after a brief compering stint in Germany, Killian looks set to continue spewing his vitriol across the nation.

- Multiple King Gong Winner

- Fame 4U Best Comedian Finalist

"a low-key approach, vaguely reminiscent of Boothby Graffoe at his most laid back, that works very effectively" Chortle.co.uk

"Hilarious" Student Direct

"Confident and sarcastic" BBC.co.uk

"Angry and Shouty" Derby Wordpress

"His sharp observations and willingness to talk about just anything have made him a quick favourite and ensured a speedy rise through the comedy ranks. An interesting dark side and an impressive set for a relative
newcomer" News and Star

"the hilarity comes from the absolute contempt for the trivial world around him. Brilliantly dark, but always with a warm and playful slant." Lee Martin, The Frog and Bucket

"He already looks like the real thing : a dour and misanthropic comic whose terse material works because it is very well written and delivered with a self loathing venom. Different, challenging, and miles away from the dull platitudes of traditional observational comedy : and all the funnier for it." Toby Hadoke, XS Malarkey
