Kev Rook

Smooth talking, cheeky grinning Kev Rook started out in stand-up in September of 2004 with an immediately fluid stage manner and boldly creative material.
This year has seen him break through into regular paid gigs for The Stand, The Otherside, Buzz Club, Funny Bones and Black Cat amongst many others. He has MC'd over 150 gigs, written and performed two one man shows for the Manchester Comedy Festival and one at this years Leicester Comedy Festival (A sold out show), runs two monthly gigs in central Manchester, and has gigged all over the UK, with headlining and main support spots booked in from now onwards.

Recognized as an engaging performer, Kev plays up to his boyish and impish charms and combines them with a warm edgy style with tight, punchy material, all fueled by a uniquely off-kilter comedic sensibility which makes him not only funny, but fun to watch.

This is one stand up who leaves everyone feeling that they have left the gig wiser, naughtier and more prepared for what cards life deals them.
