Janet Meredith

Janet Meredith is an up and coming Antipodean comedian who delivers observational comedy with a twist. After a slow yet steady rise to anonymity in Australia, Janet ventured to Old Blighty in 2001. Her antipodean style mixed with travel tales, wicked wit and even the odd sing along makes for a better abdominal workout than anything available on the shopping channel.

"Fantastic observational comedy from one of the funniest women Australia has ever produced; this is meant as more complimentary than it sounds. Janet Meredith is very, very funny indeed." Ed Morrish, BBC Radio

“Janet Meredith is a very funny lady - brash, fearless and tasteless in the finest Australian tradition. Unhindered and all the funnier due to a lack of regard for political correctness - exemplified by her tendency to write new topical words to songs and deliver them with gusto and panache. Janet's material is highly original and delivered with aplomb - unphased by hecklers. Invite her anywhere - except perhaps to children's parties.” Mike Dodd, ABC Television
