James Cann

James Cann...an intelligent-simpleton, an oxymoron?! No...just a moron, who's not afraid to ask the stupid questions that society ignores.

James started performing stand-up comedy in late 2005 and has quickly chalked-up over 100 gigs. His easily accessible stories, delivered with his child-like mentality in a melancholy-surrealist style has captivated audiences.

Journalist & radio presenter James started stand-up comedy to try and explain-away his manic depression but audiences can't help but laugh at his misfortune. His day job keeps his mind fresh with the latest news but with most news being bad news, this doesn't help his mental state.

Throughout August 2006 James performed stand-up in the sell-out show HERESY at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. (www.freefringe.com), (www.edfringe.com).
