Jackson Voorhaar

Jackson began performing stand-up in October 2008 in Melbourne, Australia. After just a year he moved to London to cut his teeth on the best stand-up scene in the world and has since shared bills with the likes of Norman Lovett, Paul Foot, Pappy's, Holly Wash, Keith Platt, Magnus Betner and has even performed on stage with Bill Bailey (though in that instance he was asked up from the audience- it still counts!)

He's had paid work for Laughing Horse and open 5's or 10's for Mirth Control, Up the Creek, Comedy Cafe and Oi Oi Comedy.

At the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2011 Jackson will unleash his debut solo show 'Jackson Voorhaar Can't Play Guitar' before taking in onwards to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011.

Jackson Voorhaar Can't Play Guitar is a show for the Rock God in us all, mixing stand-up, storytelling and an innovative new take on musical comedy with lashings of ROCK!

"A very funny comic who just wants to be a comedian. not an actor, not a news reader, just a very funny comedian. 5 stars" - Greg Fleet
