Hyde Panaser

Hyde Panaser hit the comedy scene in 2007, having performed for over an hour for his first ever set. He is founder and headline act for an amateur comedy night called Humili-Asian, which offers a platform for comedy acts who want to test a stage.

Hailing from West London, Hyde is trained as a graphic designer, but has worked within the Asian media industry from the age of 15. Performing music to crowds, moving on to radio and progressing into comedy. He has produced, written and presented a number of hi-octane radio shows for community radios, including breakfast shows and specialist music shows also.

When it comes to comedy he considers everyone a target, he talks about being a Brit-Asian, dating, observations, to dealing with the different cultures he comes across living a multicultural lifestyle. He has previously opened for Jason Rouse and Jeff Mirza and is sure to be an act to watch out for. Currently doing the rounds with Humili-Asian from Soho Revue Bar and Watermans Theatre to name a few.

He has attracted interest from various media including Asiana Magazine, Eastern Eye, BBC Asian Network – appearing on the Nikki Bedi Show and InsideDesi.com.

Even though he still considers himself very much an amateur, his style and delivery has the audience gasping for air in between explosions of laughter and thunderous applause, and also has them poised and anticipating the next joke.

His playful attitude supported with a well-developed act could certainly be the perfect platform to elevate him from amateur status. His innate ability to relax the crowd as though he were entertaining us in his living room, is the appropriate breeding ground for luring the audience into a false sense of security.
