Harry Steele

A cynical optimist who doesn't understand why life can't be like the movies, Harry Steele is a teller of tall tales and short stories that draw the audience into his warped worldview.

Born in London but aged in Somerset (where the countryside is from), Harry Steele returned to the capital a child of two worlds.  Like Superman.

Now a comedian, he is writing/performing 5-20 min sets in and around London, featuring at nights such as Angel Comedy, Comedy Virgins and We Are Funny Project.

Harry is also an award winning comedy writer/performer who has worked in film, theatre and television.  In 2009 his first play 'Shite Christmas' was performed to packed houses and in 2011 his work was placed 1st and 3rd in the Shepton Mallet Digital Arts Festival's short film awards and 1st place in the London Independent Film Festival.
