Great Britain Explained

"Colin Simpson, Ben Chester and Colin Ramone's show is a blast of comic fresh air, turning preoccupations on their heads and offering some genuinely razor sharp satire as an antidote to the endless observational humour and storytelling shows on offer at The Fringe. A whirlwind 60 minutes, the pace only adding the overall enjoyment of the show. Thoroughly likeable, the three sweat their way through each skit, putting their all into this spoof lecture which cuts through British culture like a knife through I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Great Britain Explained is a satirical hit and an undoubted Fringe highlight. *****" - The Metro

"Two Scotsmen and an Englishman parody their native Britain, with even the Channel Islands not escaping ridicule, hilarious. You may not learn much about Britain in an academic sense but you will learn plenty about our sense of humour. ****" - Three Weeks

"Generates a whole barrel full of belly laughs " The Stage

"Spot on and hilarious ****" Forth FM

"Bring The House down" Time Out
"These guys are wicked" The Fest
"Go and See it NOW" S1play
"Like strawberries and cream, a British pleasure" The List
"Rip the United Kingdom Apart" BBC Online
