Gina Ryan

Gina Ryan is a regular performer at the comedy clubs throughout London, the rest of the country and Amsterdam. She also performs on the National Comedy Network and recently appeared at the Celtic comedy Festival and the Newcastle Comedy Festival. Gina has also supported Scott Capurro on tour.

In 1996 Gina was part of the sell-out Edinburgh show 'Stand Up Women' receiving a great response from both the press and public.

Gina has been a regular contributor on radio and her credits include: - THE ST AND UP SHOW (R2), I'M GLAD YOU ASKED ME THAT (R4), THE TREATMENT (R5), SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND (Talk Radio/LBC), KALEIDESCOPE (R4), TODAY (R4) as well as Radio 5 and GLR shows.

Her television credits include: - THE STAND UP SHOW (BBC 1) THE WAREHOUSE (Carlton), IS THAT IT? (Anglia) and ESTHER (R2)

Gina's writing credits include:- COMEDY NATION - New Labour Women (BBC2), YOUNG TURKS (Paramount Comedy Channel). Gina was invited to take part in the Carlton Sit-Com writes course and has also contributed to two books, THE RULES OF LOVE and WOMEN BEHAVING BADLY for Orion Publishing.

In the past Gina has won the 'Glastonbury Festival Comedy Competition' and a box of roses in the St. Antony's Primary School Christmas raffle in 1976. She has remained relatively unaffected by her success, particularly as the Roses are now finished.
