Alex hails from Toronto, Canada and has gigged sporadically in Toronto until he came to the UK to visit his friend in September 2001. He was blown away by the massive comedy scene here, and found himself at home amongst his English countrymen. After a couple of subsequent visits, Alex moved to London in September 2002 and has been performing regularly since. He performs vehemently in venues all across the UK, and has been seen in come of the biggest clubs in the country including
In August 2004, Alex completed a successful run of his first solo Edinburgh show "Nobody likes me!" at the Edinburgh fringe festival. In 2005, he will participate in several gigs in the acclaimed Leicester comedy festival, including a headlining spot @ The Comedy Funhouse @ Bar Nova. Alex is very versatile, and is one of the few white acts to play the black circuit, including regular appearances at Da Comedy Funhouse, London. He has also just been featured on "You got Jokes" which can be seen on channel U in February.
