Tommy D burst on to the Birmingham comedy scene in 2003 with a dry sense of humour and motto of 'You can't spell slaughter without laughter.' With jokes mined from such subjects as war, crucifixion and the ritual slaying of boy bands, he's not one to shy away from edgy material. Ever the friend to the student crowds, he does a good line in knob jokes, too. At 18, he was one of
the youngest comedians ever to perform at a Jongleurs club, so he's definitely one to keep an eye on.
