Stewart McDowall
 
Between bouts of amnesia, coma and incontinence Stewart has been performing and writing comedy for over 20 years.

Stewart is noticably different from the energetic, bright, fresh-faced, good looking new comedians who are tearing around the circuit being entertaining and funny.

He’s one of the few comics who can say that he did his first gig at Malcolm Hardee’s notorious Tunnel Club near the Blackwall Tunnel, an experience that should have put him off comedy forever, but sadly didn't.

In recent years Stewart has lived in York and gigs extensively across the North.

For students Stewart’s act is the embodiment of what can happen to you if you don’t turn up for lectures.  For everyone else he’s a living reminder that things could be worse.
