During his first year on the comedy circuit, Simon reached the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards, the final of the Amused Moose Talent Quest and the final of the Laughing Horse New Act Competition.

Launching headlong onto the stage, at once energetic and quirkily self-deprecating, he set about taking over the clubs of London, five minutes at a time... He subsequently performed in Edinburgh in the Amused Moose Hot Starlets show and at universities up and down the country as part of the Avalon Comedy Network...

His affable demeanour and high-energy approach brought him to the attention of many promoters, and he has been gigging regularly since, from Torquay to St Andrews...

In the period between his birth and today, Simon was also highly commended by The Royal Television Society for the romantic comedy short film, 'Full Circle', which he wrote, directed and acted in; was awarded a gold medal (with honours) in acting by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and spent six months as a member of an improv comedy troupe, Absolunacy, based in Muncie, Indiana, USA...

More recently Simon has lent his wild enthusiasm and vocal talents to kids' shows "Jim Jam & Sunny" for CITV, and "Yo Gabba Gabba" for NickJr...
