Scooby

Scooby is a bit like a one-night stand - he usually starts with a few quick ones, then moves into some longer stuff leaving his audience with a feeling of guilty pleasure, yet satisfied at the same time. He draws on huge range of cleverly written strong material to wow his audience, but has similarly penned a large number of quick gags incase needs must. His material often includes topical subjects, ensuring the audience never see the same set twice.

His stand up career had an inauspicious start in 2006, having been selected to go on last after eleven other new comics. Leaving aside the spectacle of repressed childhood memories of being the last person picked in football, Scooby went on to wow the audience and secured a place in that years “Funny Business” final.

Since then Scooby has actively pursued a career in stand up. Both his material and writing have gone from strength-to-strength, winning over the hearts of audiences up and down the country. He can tailor his act to suit any audience and has earned himself a name from being able to deal with the harshest of rooms, tear down barriers with punters and win the respect of the most stubborn of audience-members.

Clubs he's played:

UK:
Rawhide, Slaughterhouse, Alexanders, Frog and Bucket, Comedy Store Manchester, Comedy Central,  Mirth on Monday, Two Tubs, Comedy Balloon, The Laugh Inn, Beyond a Joke, JMU comedy, Preston Uni comedy, Muckcomedy, Soup Kitchen Comedy... plus countless others around the UK

The Laff Stop - Houston, Texas
