Rufus Hound

Rufus Hound can currently be seen on SKY ONE, in a new panel show with Carol Vordeman and Sara Cox called "Vorderman's Big Brain Game". The show tests creativity, logic, memory and spatial awareness and Rufus & Sara are both team captains.

Earlier this year Rufus completed the filming of a new sitcom pilot for the BBC called 'The Flat'. Rufus co-stars with Tom Price and the pair also co-wrote the show. In 2006 Rufus has also continued to regularly present "Top of the Pops" with Fern Cotton on BBC 2.

2005 was a spectacular and groundbreaking year for Rufus Hound, with involvement in numerous high-profile television projects, and a burgeoning reputation as one of the top acts on the live circuit. His work for the BBC included presenting the World Music Awards from LA (which was subsequently broadcast on BBC2), covering The Glastonbury Festival for BBC 3, co-hosting "Top of the Pops" on BBC 2 and appearing on "Destination Three" (a nightly show on BBC 3). In addition Rufus stormed some of the biggest and best comedy clubs in the country, with regular compering for the Krater at Brighton's Komedia, and gigging both nationally and internationally. The year was neatly rounded off with Rufus supporting Rory Bremner on his highly successful national tour.

Still only 26, Rufus has further projects in development for both TV and Radio. He has also appeared as a regular entertainment correspondent for BBC Radio London and worked for LBC as Jono Coleman's sidekick.

However, Rufus's talents are not purely restricted to comedy, presenting and a passion for music. He was a founder member, writer, producer, researcher and performer of 'Punkscience' (the acclaimed science show at The Edinburgh Festival 2005).
