Rufus has come a long way since his days explaining plasma to school kids at the Science Museum. His contributions to radio and television are ever-increasing, and he achieves all of this whilst still remaining a full-time stand-up comedian! Rufus has presented live coverage from the GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, READING FESTIVAL and T IN THE PARK for BBC3 / BBC2. He was a regular guest presenter on BBC’s TOP OF THE POPS and was team captain on VORDERMAN’S BIG BRAIN GAME. He was a mentor for ITV2’s BEST MAN’S SPEECH, and also presented GRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (RDF for BBC3) and narrated 2 series of BBC3’s MYTHBUSTERS. Most recently, he gave a winning performance on ITV’s THANK GOD YOU’RE HERE, co-presented THE BRITISH COMEDY AWARDS and is currently team-captain on Dave’s ARGUMENTAL.. Rufus’ aim in life? - To make us smile and show us cool stuff! TELEVISION Rufus is a popular radio personality, and has depped for the likes of Jenny Éclair and Iain Lee (LBC Radio). He is a regular guest on Ella Kenion’s Friday Overnight Show (BBC London) and regular sidekick on Jono Coleman’s Sunday Show (LBC Radio) and Guest Entertainment Correspondent for Peter Curran’s Saturday Show (BBC London) and was recently a guest on Hot Gossip (BBC Radio 2). An accomplished writer too, Rufus has co-written the BBC3 sitcom The Flat, (which he also starred in!) and has also provided scripts for Top of the Pops and Glastonbury, together with pilot shows for Ch4 and BBC TV. As a stand-up comedian, he was a finalist in Channel 4’s coveted ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition at the Edinburgh Festival 2002, and supported Rory Bremner on his 2005 National Tour. He is a regular at The Comedy Café, Amused Moose, The Laughing Horse, The Glass House, The Brewhouse, Aha Ha Ha, Up The Creek, The Comedy Store and Komedia.
