Ro Dalziel

As the youngest of seven children, Ro Dalziel’s first cry was also her first public performance.

Since reaching adulthood (where she still cries with refreshing regularity), Ro has oscillated between a legal career and an entertainment career in both New Zealand and the UK.

Most notably, Ro played a bald nurse for a year, who became a Hollywood producer (common career path for NZ nurses) in NZ soap opera, Shortland Street. She also attended the Drama Studio London in 2002-3.

Ro began stand-up comedy in November 2004. Ro has performed for such clubs as Laughing Horse, Downstairs at the Kings’ Head and Mirth Control. She reached the quarter finals of the Laughing Horse competition and the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny.
