Rob Jackson
Rob started doing the comedy in spring 2010. He then took a year before doing his second gig and is now going for it properly.
Rob mixes one-liners with observations and whimsy, creating an unusual performance that demands the audience keep up with him.
Rob is based in Birmingham and is vegan. Now looking for gigs far and wide.

Rob Jackson was up next, an old comedy friend of ours who started with all us "Half Doggers" on the same course. He's had a break from the comedy but came back recently with the same charm and fantastic lines that we loved about him at the start, Rob ended the 1st section to much applause so well done Rob for taking the plunge and coming back on the circuit.

He asked if there were any vegans in the room and a bunch of blokes at the back said they were – I had my doubts about the veracity of their statement – it threw him for a bit but he recovered nicely and delivered a decent set. Mainly around the mundanity of life and cash points and opening doors – it built nicely to a bit of surreal absurdity. Well done that man.

Some nice ideas, needs quite a lot work though.
