Richard Pulsford (aka Rich Kidd)

‘Pulsford has strong material’ – Chortle review (February 2014)

'Richard is a very funny man with effortless confidence and great stage presence. His groaner gags are delightfully crafted and the audience were lapping them up as they crumbled under the barrage of one and two liners' - S. Davidson, promoter, Portobello Stand Up Comedy (December 2013)

"As a writer of one-liners he has few equals on the Scottish comedy scene. At turns both intelligent and extrermely silly, his dedication to his craft is admired by comedians and audiences everywhere"– Vladimir McTavish, writer and performer (December 2013)

RICHARD PULSFORD is an experienced 1-liner / gag type comedian who has performed at 300 gigs in over 100 different venues in more than 50 towns and cities, from Aberdeen to Whitley Bay. He has a strong 20 minute set of tried and tested gags.

Based in Burntisland, Fife, Richard owns and drives a car, and is accustomed to travelling ridiculously long distances to gigs in Scotland and England.

In 2014 he has competed in the UK Pun Championships Final at the Leicester Comedy Festival with Lee Nelson, and performed at the Bath Comedy Festival. He also performed his first one-man show ‘Richard Pulsford is Going On’, at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and will be taking the same show to the Leith Festival and then the Edinburgh Fringe Festival later in the year.
