Rachel Sambrooks
Rachel started comedy in 2003 as popular character act 'Carol King' before taking a break during which time she wrote for BBC and comedy content for UKTV website, returning to performing in 2008 as herself.
She is resident MC and promoter of the very popular Laffacino Comedy Cabaret in Birmingham. Also compere for Loudeemy, Ladyfest Nottingham 2011 and other local gigs. Regular at Retort Cabaret, Kitchen Garden Café, Birmingham.
Done paid or expenses work for Ship of Fools, Leicester, The Bear, Mirth Control, Laffboro, Laughing Cows, Manchester, resident stand up at Buddhafield Festival 2010 and various independent shows and promoters. Gigged at The Glee Club, Birmingham for Jo Enright and Friends

Children/Clean Comedy
Rachel also has experience working with children and in schools and enjoys performing clean sets and children's comedy. She wrote and performed ‘The Recycled Puppet Show’ a storytelling children’s comedy puppet show at The Public, West Bromwich, Black Country Touring and Nuneaton as well as schools.
