Phil Hammond

Phil is a GP (currently practicing at a Sexual Health Centre in Bristol), journalist and broadcaster. With Struck Off & Die, he and Tony Gardner enjoyed much success performing on radio and at Edinburgh. Phil’s presenting credits include five series of “Trust Me, I’m A Doctor” (BBC), “The Motion Show”, “Pillories of the State” (BBC Radio) and BBC1’s “Heaven and Earth Show”. Phil recorded a new comedy on BBC Radio 4 “24 Hours to save the NHS” which he also wrote.

Such was its success that "59 mins To Save The NHS" enjoyed ratings-boosting reviews at this Summer's Edinburgh Festival and he has just finished the first leg of a nationwide tour.

Phil is also writing and developing a new sitcom for the BBC.
