niCe mUm are double act Dave Marks and Kris Dyer

Dave Marks (writer/performer)
Dave was a semi-finalist in three major stand-up comedy competitions at the age of 19. Since then he has continued to do stand up around the country to increasing acclaim being described by Chris Addison (Perrier Nominee) as "hilarious" and Boothby Graffoe (also a Perrier Nominee) as having a "wonderfully distinctive style".

During the past four years he has also devoted an increasing amount of time to other projects: he has written and performed for several hit fringe shows on the London and Edinburgh stage and developed formats for Radio and T.V. as well as writing a short film "3000 Pesetas" with Kris Dyer.

Dave is writing a regular feature for comedy magazine "Crackin'" which will be launched in London on July 5th and nationwide on the first day of the Edinburgh festival.


Kris Dyer (writer/performer)
Kris writes, acts, does stand up and produces. He was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and the Open Mic Awards and has performed stand-up all over the country. He wrote and performed with sketch group …inexplicable… in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe and wrote sketches for a BBC Radio pilot called Hens.

Theatre credits include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Macbeth and Pass The Butler.

He is the producer of the Nice Mum Edinburgh show. He is 23 and lives in West London.
