Nathan Webb Started his comedy career in the character of 'Trolley Porter Pete', at the Fontygary Inn, Cardiff. This local, family pub had never showcased stand up comedy before, and probably hasn't since. Nathan went on to the Edinburgh Fringe that summer, and made the Semi Finals of 5's talent search So You Think You're Funny on his 2nd ever gig. He went on to perform a stint of gigs at the Late Show and various other shows while at the Fringe. On returning to the Green Grass of home, this baritoned young valley-boy put Cardiff Pete to rest for the while and has since been somberly walking around the planks of some of the UKs best comedy clubs, ranting at the Glee Club, Swansea's Grand Theatre, the Comedy Brewhouse, the Bearcat, the Laughing Horse and even had the audacity, the balls, the vim to try out some gong nights at the legendary Comedy Store, Piccadilly. His record was 30.2 seconds, and he has vowed to never try these nights again. He has also appeared at Jongluers, Birmingham and Just the Tonic in Nottingham alongside the legends Phil Nichol and Glenn Wool. His style is observational, mick-taking and often includes some nostalgic diggings aimed at our experiences of growing up, and the stuff that makes us what we are. His live DVD will probably be released around November 2010 and should make an ideal Christmas present. Ooh put it in ya stockings, go on, fill them up!
