Having earned his keep as a teacher in Newcastle, Mike Milligan knows a thing or two about ‘audience interaction’, and he majors on it. However this Geordie quickly found classrooms weren’t the best place to share his sharp, witty banter! Now firmly established as a top stand-up comedian, Mike’s teaching days are on summer vacation indefinitely. In place is a wealth of gigs on the national and international comedy circuit; including both compering and headlining shows for The Comedy Club, the Comedy Store and Jongleurs' clubs and countless more.

Having proudly held the helm as resident compere at Newcastle's Hyena Comedy Cafe, which was acclaimed as ' One of the top ten comedy clubs in the country'(Daily Telegraph), Mike is well versed in entertaining audiences from the toughest gigs, to after dinner speaking and corporate shows; providing a successful blend of material, delivery and audience interaction that can be tailored to meet the needs of the event or client.
