Mike Lord

Mike is still nearer the beginning of his comedy journey than the end, mixing his less frequent stand-up appearances with promoting & managing JAM Comedy Club, MC work and Radio & Podcast appearances.

Mike has been likened to Jimeoin but just in his looks. He’s more like a much lesser version of his comedy heroes (Milton Jones meets Peter Kay), with his mixture of puns and stories of growing up in the North and living in the South.

Mike has made a few appearances at the Edinburgh Festival and is now writing a show for 2017, working title "Don't be a gold member"

“Mike did the red dot bar gig at the MK Dons stadium for us and had the crowd laughing from start to finish” – Stephen Powell (The Comedy Cow)

“Mike’s material is very well thought out and structured” – Notts Comedy Review (Pity, as I was aiming for funny)

“You’re looking for the Carl Donnelly show? You’ve obviously never seen him, it’s me” – Carl Donnelly (Edinburgh 2014)
