Being slapped in the face with a wad of meat in a film with Simon Pegg is something few people dream of achieving, but somehow, Mickey Anderson has done just that. Mickey Anderson is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor from London, who has spent as much time working in Edinburgh as his home town due to his unalloyed love of cobbles. He started comedy in 2005 and has worked as a writer and performer of a number of acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows, and is currently working on his debut solo show, an exploration of happiness and misery for Edinburgh 2011, snappily titled 'Mickey Anderson Unlocks the Key to Human Happiness'. He is a co-founder of 'We Happy Few' a comedy collective working in Edinburgh to recreate the unique feel of the Edinburgh Fringe all year round, running regular alternative sketch and stand-up nights featuring established comedians and up -and-coming acts performing the most exciting and original comedy in the city.
