Award
winning Danish comedienne Mette Lisby has brought her intelligent observational
humour around the World, with performances in Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg,
Amsterdam and of course in her native Denmark, where she's a household name. Here
she has been voted "Most Popular TV-Personality" several times, while
hosting the hugely popular Danish edition of "Have I Got News For You".
She also hosted the Danish version of "Room 101" and the Danish Breakfast
TV. On the big screen Mette has played the lead in 2 Danish movies, for which
she was short-listed for a "Robert Award" (the Danish equivalent of
the BAFTA).
Mette had her Edinburgh Debut in 2006 with the show "Cartoon
Heroes - Drawing the Line". The show got coverage on BBC Breakfast, as well
as articles "The Independent" and "Sunday Times".
Mette
Lisby now lives and works in London, where she performs on the London circuit.
