Men In Coats

A little less conversation, a little more action.
This explosive duo have become one of the most talked about live comedy acts of the last few years. After returning from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002, where they debuted their full length show to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim, they were invited to perform at THE ROYAL VARIETY SHOW being shown on BBC1. "(Men in Coats) proved to be one of the evening's biggest successes" THE STAGE

Since then they have starred the in BBC's weekly Saturday night show "THE LIVE FLOOR SHOW", performed at the MELBOURNE COMEDY FESTIVAL, filmed a pilot for BBC, done 2 full-scale tours of the UK, toured in Greece, Portugal, France, Germany and Barbados and returned to Edinburgh where they were one of the highest grossing shows of the Fringe.

What the press say:

"A sheer delight… nigh on perfect" THE INDEPENDENT

"They redefine your expectations of what can be accomplished on a stage… the closing applause was thunderous." TELEGRAPH

"Just the kind of original, inventive, fun-packed performance that every Fringe show should be… Men in Coats are going to be huge." EVENING NEWS

"Intoxicating breath of fresh air" THE HERALD

"Breathtakingly imaginative… an overnight sensation" METRO

"Hilariously simple… Men in Coats are the talk of the Fringe" THE GUARDIAN

"Watching this show was the happiest hour I spent up in Edinburgh… fully deserving of a West End transfer" THE SPECTATOR

"Very funny… the most exciting visual comedy act… unstoppable" MALCOLM HAY, TIME OUT

"Mesmeric… head and shoulders above the rest" WILLIAM COOK, GUARDIAN

"Funnier than 90% of the shows currently running in the West End. If there's any justice in the world, Men in Coats will have their own television show within a year" EVENING STANDARD

Absurd and delirious, as funny as it is clever, there are no easy predictable routes to comedy for these boys. This is a totally original comedy experience and one of the funniest shows around.
