Mathew Heard
As a relatively new comedian Mathew has already made a big splash on the welsh comedy scene with achievements such as reaching the Welsh Unsigned Stand up Award competition semi Final after only 2 Months into his Stand up career and later going on to WIN the Giggles comedy competition.
Having recently supported Welsh Legend Max Boyce on his 2011 tour to sell out crowds Mathew is now grabbing the attention of promoters with regular offers of Opening and Headline gigs. With a set that can be tweeked to suit any audience, and that is packed full of life stories including Drunken Disasters, Crying and the very unfortunate moment he learnt of his parents sexual preferences Mathew would without doubt leave any audience shouting for more.

Mathew has now perfomed over 70 gigs to date including supporting Max Boyce to a Sell out 650 capacity theatre in South Wales, other gigs include London Comedy Store & Laughing Horse Camden Town, Birmingham,Worcester and Bath. Mathew is now filling his diary for 2012 in which he hopes will be a very successful year.

I spoke with Mathew this morning (this stuff is well researched and no stone left etc.) and he told me he’d only been going 6 months. Well you wouldn’t have known it. The 3rd Celt on the bill delivered up another cracker – it must be something in the water, if only we could get it in Brum…His set covered various topics including the best way of cleaning up after you’ve crapped over your television, and finished with a fantastically executed call back that blew the roof off. Definitely book him.
