Unbelievably celebrating 14 years as a Stand up Comic. Mark Rough, the self styled Mackem Motormouth began his career, like most on the comedy club circuit playing in rooms above pubs. This is where he mastered his breakneck style. With a massive gags per minute ratio he is not one for the comedy purists but he certainlyis a crowd pleaser. Observational, modern, fresh and above all side splittingly funny, Mark has seen his act work all over the world with seasons in Dubai, Cyprus, Spain, Canary Islands and more recently Scotland where he seems to have gained a cult following.

Hailing from Sunderland but based in West Yorkshire  Mark has branched out into more mainstream venues, after dinner speaking, corporate functions and small theatres, yet he has never forgotten his comedy club roots and in 2011 he made a dramatic and successful return to the comedy circuit, where he has managed to combine working between the two genres

Telling gags can be easy, Roughy makes it look difficult! With story after story throwing out punchlines galore his fast paced set seems to fly over in minutes.
