Marc Wootton

Comedy actor and writer, Marc Wootton has firmly established himself as an accomplished comic performer. He is currently in production on SPAM (E4/Channel 4) Web Rats (BBC Choice) and Resistance (BBC Choice).

Marc spent a month in New York working on comic characters for Freaktown (Channel 4). His other TV appearances have included writing and performing in This Is Dom Joly (BBC2), The State We're In (BBC Choice), The Chris Moyles Show as Keith Parker (Play UK) and pilot shows Rumbled (BBC) and Office Pests (Channel 4).

Marc also writes and performs as part of a double act with Barry Castagnola. They are the co-creators of Cyderdelic. At this last
year's Edinburgh Festival, alomg with Liam Woodman, they performed to sell-out crowds with their high-energy multimedia show earning them rave reviews across the board and were followed by the acclaimed series Edinburgh or Bust (Channel 4).

They have performed regularly on The 11 O'Clock Show (Channel 4) and won The Green Light Award for Entertainment at the
inaugural BBC2 awards which resulted in them creating for the small screen, Cyderdelic: The Revolution will be Televised
(BBC2). This was screened earlier this year. A new six-part series has since been commissioned for BBC2/BBC Choice.
