Marc Burrows

Having spent three years working silently behind the scenes of the comedy world, Marc Burrows sprang fully formed onto the circuit in January 2009 knowing what to expect and what it took.  His supernaturally likeable stage presence and engaging story telling, combined with a deceptively sharp wit have quickly established him as a regular on London's new act circuit. In his first 6 months he has placed as a finalist, or won five seperate open mic competitions, leading to paid spots, MCing and University gigs.

He will be performing as part of the 'Big Comedy Breakfast' at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe, alongside Sarah Pearce, Diane Spencer and Rob Auton, a show Marc has produced and put together himself.

In his first 6 months Marc has gigged at Loughborough University, SPANK!, the Soho Comedy Club, West End Comedy, The Kings Head, Crouch End, the Cheese and Pineapple Club (at both the central London and Stoke Newington shows) and is a regular at Tom Webb's party piece.
