Lewis, who is also known as Big Lou, is a relative newcomer to the comedy scene but has already managed to clock up a lot of gigs at some of the North West’s best Comedy Clubs. Big Lou’s Stand Up is a product of the successful Comedy Coaching Partnership of Agent & Writer Ashley Boroda and Award Winning Comedian and Star of BBCs IDEAL, Seymour Mace, who got Big Lou on the Comedy Scene via there Comedy Course. Big Lou reached the final of the "Old Speckled Hen New Comedian of the Year 2010" a competition in which he came 3rd. Big Lou’s first ever gig was a New Act Competition, which was only open to acts who had done up to 25 gigs, which he won. The competition was judged by City Life Comedian of the Year 2009, Eddie Hoo. One of the personal highlights of Big Lou’s comedy career so far was a spot at XS Malarkey in Fallowfield. Big Lou has beaten both the Preston & Manchester Frog as well as beating the gong at Manchester's Comedy Store.
