Leanne Diggins

A Londoner born and bred, Leanne's friendly yet "street wise" persona ensures the audience warms to her virtually straight away. In a chatty, intelligent and down to earth manner she interacts comfortably with the audience. Additionally, she brings to life and acts out incredibly frank and descriptive observations that enable the audience to identify with her time and time again.

From the word go, Leanne made it very clear that she wanted her stand-up material to be completely non-gender specific steering clear of all cliché's. It can be safely said that she has achieved this objective. Leanne has performed many gigs up and down the country, this includes MCing which she has a natural flair for.

Leanne has a strong background in television (9 years), starting out as an ‘audience warm-up’ at The Disney Channel. In 1998 Leanne became a wedding singer for three years entertaining love birds nationwide. She also presented and produced her own radio show for two years and has starred in two BBC documentaries, both broadcast in 2005. Yes, she's a character all right - but not one of those irritating ones you want to punch in the face.
